Welcome to the Master Business Licensing System (MBLS) informational website. It provides one-stop access to current state level licensing requirements for many common business activities. Using this site, you can determine what licenses are required for the business activity you are interested in. By linking to the website of the agency issuing each license, you may obtain available forms to apply. Currently, only state level licensing requirements are included. Ultimately, requirements for city, county, and federal levels will be added. Concurrently, the State is working to make on-line application possible for business licensing activity as well. Instructions:
To obtain business licensing information please click "Next" at the bottom of the screen. On the following screen, choose one business activity from the alphabetized pick list and click "submit". (If you do not see your choice, try looking under a different name for that activity, such as "vehicle" instead of "auto" or "car". If you still cannot find your choice, contact us toll-free at 1-800-TRY-OKLA (879-6552) for assistance.)
After clicking "submit" you will be presented with a series of questions related to your chosen activity. Please answer all of them: failure to do so will result in an error notice prompting you to return to the question page. After responding to all questions, click "submit". The resulting page will show the licenses required at the state level to engage in your chosen business activity. You will also see the issuing agency, contact information for them, their website link for application forms, and detailed information about each particular license. Just click on each to display the information.
